Proudly representing their beloved Tierra Caliente, La Chicanita y su sabor michoacano. boast over 15 years of success and a discography including 16 titles. Hailing from the city of Tuzantla in Michoacan, Mexico, La Chicanita are one of few professional music groups to emerge from this region. As one of their home state's only successful musical acts in over a decade, La Chicanita felt a great responsibility to present the traditional music of Tierra Caliente not only to their loyal regional fan base, but to the greater Mexican listening audience as well. In so doing, La Chicanita soon found themselves playing to enormous audiences in public events and festivals throughout the region.
